** Hello, everyone! Happy August! I originally wrote this post at the beginning of July, but things got in the way of me posting it. So I ask you all to pretend that we don't have a month left of summer! **

---------

It's finally summer and you know what that means! The prime season for s'mores, sunscreen, no school (If you're one of the lucky ones who doesn't have a job... I envy you..) and a feel good book to read for when you're pool side or having beach days!

I thought it'd be very fitting to talk about the books I'd like to read within the next couple of months! I'm sure I won't get through all of them and there will be a few books I will end up reading that aren't on this list, but as long as I'm reading then it's quiet all right.

Before I start, I just want to say, I know that all these books on this are contemporaries. During the warmer months, I have a strong craving for contemporaries. Well, I'm always wanting to read contemporaries, but that's besides the point. I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys reading certain types of books during different times of the year, right?

1. Save the Date by Morgan Matson

First on the list we have have "Save the date" by Morgan Matson! Ever since it released back in June, I've seen this cover all over my instagram feed. I have Matson's other book "The Unexpected Everything", but have yet to read anything from her. I've heard great things about her and can't wait to read this one!

2. When Dimple Met Rashi by Sandhya Menson

This book has been on my TBR for sometime now and when I found it sitting in the bargain section in Barnes and Noble, I ripped it off the shelf and ran to checkout as fast as I could! Does this cover not make you want an iced coffee right now? Because I sure as hell could go for one!

3. To All The Boy's I've Loved Before by Jenny Han

I've already read this one, but with the movie adaptation coming out on Netflix this month, I need a refresher. If any of you know me, you'll already know how obsessed I am with this series and I always recommend it as a must read if you want a could romantic contemporary!

4. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson

As I said earlier, I have yet to read any of Morgan Matson's work, but I've had this one on my shelf since last year and have yet to get to it. Since it's set during the summer, I HAVE to read it during the summer time! Shouldn't you always read a book during the same season it takes place in? I feel like you get the full affect when you do.

What are you currently reading?
